The Singer Heavy Duty 5511 packs a punch where other sewing machines may come undone. A heavy duty sewing machine with a 60% stronger motor than standard ones, its rigid interior and metal frame provide excellent support for skip free sewing even when dealing with thicker fabrics and higher speeds of up to 1100 stitches-per-minute.
Despite its solid construction, the built-in carry handle makes it a portable machine that you can take on the go for projects that need to be completed wherever you are. The four-segment feed dog system ensures fabric is picked up and supported from the front to the back of the presser foot so that stable and more accurate feeding is achieved for an even stitch and finish.
Multiple needle positions give you greater stitching options for ease when inserting zips, cording, and topstitching whilst the range of feet also allow for greater variety in your pieces. The adjustable tension also ensures stable stitch quality regardless of fabric.
The free arm allows for easier sewing of typically hard to access areas, like collar, cuffs, and trouser hems, and has on-board storage to keep all the included accessories in one place. The extra high presser foot lifter allows for more room for bulkier fabrics so you can sew thicker pieces with confidence.
